James H. Forson has served as an independent director for ACE since January 2019. He served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of La Quinta Holdings Inc., a publicly-traded owner, operator and franchisor of midscale select-service hotels, from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that role, James served La Quinta Holdings Inc. as Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Treasurer from 2013 to 2016, and Vice President and Controller from 2010 to 2012. Prior to joining La Quinta in 2010, he held various client-serving audit and internal finance and operations roles with global accounting firms Arthur Andersen LLP, Ernst & Young LLP, and Grant Thornton LLP. James earned a B.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce and is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas.
