Firefighter Trainer

The job of fighting fires and responding to emergency situations is one of the most dangerous and physically demanding professions. Over the past two decades, ACE has partnered with the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) to support the Peer Fitness Trainer (PFT) Certificate offered to fire service personnel across North America.

As of January 2022, oversight of the PFT Certificate has shifted solely to the IAFF, made possible through the launch of its Fit To Thrive (F2T) wellness and fitness program.
